AN AMERICAN IN PARIS: Adventures from the Paris Conservatory with featured Guest Artist LINDA CHESIS

There has always been an air of mystique surrounding all things flute at the Paris Conservatory from the legendary flutists who studied and taught there to the extensive flute repertoire we all play today. Renowned teacher and artist Linda Chesis will share her experiences of getting in, methods of training, survival tactics, and competing for the Premier Prix at the Conservatory.

The James Pappoutsakis Memorial Fund hosts the Pappoutsakis Competition Finals immediately following the conclusion of the Boston Flute Festival. Hear the four finalists compete and then enjoy a small reception while the judges deliberate. It’ll be an exciting evening!
